Your at-home checklist!

  • Leaks: Frequently check for any visible water leaks, the smell of gas, and keep a carbon monoxide detector nearby
  • Pressure: Check the gauge on the front panel. It can indicate an internal problem if it’s stays too high, too low or is inconsistent
  • Bleeding Radiators: If you can feel cold spots on your radiators, there's usually air trapped in the system. Grab a bucket and release it with your radiator key
  • Sounds: Bangs, whistles and/or knocking can indicate issues inside your boiler
  • Ventilation/Flue: If possible, check outside for blockages. Blocked vents can cause a build up of carbon monoxide
  • Thermostats: Make sure your thermostat is working properly. Installing a programmable thermostat offers more precise temperature control - 1 degree can make the difference on your bills!
  • Record Keeping: Trusted engineers leave you with a log of what was found and fixed. This can highlight recurring issues over time and help you with any warranty claims.
